Most of the palettes and inspectors in Dreamweaver can be docked, or combined into a single floating palette with multiple tabs. This makes it easy to access the information you need without cluttering your workspace. (The Launcher, Property inspector, and Site window cannot be docked.)
To combine two or more palettes to create a tabbed palette:
1 | Drag the tab (not the title bar) of one floating palette over another floating palette. When a highlighted border appears around the target palette, release the mouse button. |
2 | Click any tab in the window to bring the corresponding palette to the front. |

Because the Object palette does not have a tab, you can't dock it with another palette by dragging the Object palette onto the other palette; however, you can drag the tab of another palette over the Object palette to combine them.
To remove a palette from the tabbed palette:
Drag its tab out of the window.
To move a palette from one tabbed palette to another:
Drag its tab to the other tabbed palette. When a highlighted border appears around the target palette, release the mouse button.
